For this annual celebration, I will be at the Estes Park Wool Market (in Estes Park, Colorado, USA), a wonderful knit-worthy (and free!) day out for the whole family. Come pet the sheep with me! And/or sit down with me and let's knit and chat. I'd love the company!
Since it was established in 2005, World Wide Knit in Public Day has been a fun day in the knitting calendar, where knitters (and crocheters, too!) get together to knit and talk and share and basically raise awareness of our fiber crafts.
The organizers of the Estes Park Wool Market have created a designated "knit in public day" knitting area with chairs, so we can sit and knit together. Please join me at the official "knit in public day" area at the Estes Park Wool Market!
You'll be able to spot me in the crowd as I'll inevitably be wearing a green handknit sweater with a Shetland yoke.
